Episode 52: Happy Horrordays 2024 – The Dorm That Dripped Blood 1982 and Christmas Evil 1980

Natalie and Arnold present their annual celebration of all things festive and frightful, with a Very Video Nasty Xmas that covers two of the films from that infamous list, THE DORM THAT DRIPPED BLOOD (1982), and CHRISTMAS EVIL (1980)! So bring a flashlight (it is DARK!), glue on your best Santa beard, and get ready to deck the halls while fleeing from a torch-bearing mob in this very merry episode of GHOULS IN THE HOUSE!

And remember, when you’re listening to this podcast, the only ghoul in the house…is YOU!

NOTE: Arnold wanted to add that he thought the chimney sequence in CHRISTMAS EVIL was easily the most uncomfortable and suspenseful scene in the film. He forgot to say it while recording, and he just can’t let things go, so there you have it.

Episode 10: Happy Horrordays

It’s the holiday season, and Natalie and Arnold chose to watch two foreign-language Xmas-themed horror movies with creepy Santa Claus villains; to be fair, however, Santa Claus is always creepy. First up, a resourceful boy must defend his home and family from an attack by a demented Kris Kringle in DEADLY GAMES (1989). Next, a resourceful boy must defend his home and family from an attack by…um…well, anyway, it’s RARE EXPORTS (2010). There’s even some brief discussion of the beloved Rankin/Bass TV holiday specials, so settle in with some eggnog or whatever, keep the fireplace roaring in case of red-coated intruders, and listen to the latest festive episode of GHOULS IN THE HOUSE!

And remember, when you’re listening to this podcast, the only ghoul in the house…is YOU!
